At this point, with my theater and musical works in addition to my younger brother's speed skating nearly every day, the whole family is hardly ever all in one place. We find time to do really fun stuff on the weekends, but the weekdays are a nightmare. We've never been particularly close, but it can get tiring doing this chaotic routine weekly. Meanwhile, we've lost pets such as my black dog Bugsy on the right. Winter just never has been a good thing for us. The summer, however, is when we can all have a blast. Pool time! No, this one isn't ours, but it has a similar theme. My mom's a diehard natural look/river rock fan.

My brother's a skater, my dad's a guitar-playing actuary, my mom's a bookworm, videogame nerd, and a master decorator. I sing, dance, act, study, take up space, mooch, complain, and I still haven't been kicked out. Well, the age of eighteen isn't that far off (sigh). Everything is moving so quickly, so sticking together is the only way we're going to get through it all. While my family is nuts to try and balance all of this without help, I love them dearly and hope I can keep in touch while in college.
